I'm feeling: happy

My count showed 29 people last night. I served 10 lbs of beef brisket, 6 pounds of pulled pork, and 160 cans of pop and water. Guests brought about 4-6 side dishes and 8-10 desserts. As usual the desserts win! I enjoyed all the food immensely. I'm itching to make that pulled pork again, maybe at another party in a couple weeks ;-) . Thanks again to sortova for the recipe, it was easy and a HUGE success. Thanks to all attendees!

on thursday I noticed a beautiful jet black Aston Martin DB9 parked on our road. Gorgeous.

Then yesterday I saw another DB9, this one a dark grey colour, parked outside the Chinese restaurant where we were picking the takeaway up from for K's mum's birthday.

Then I noticed a dark green DB7 a couple of spaces down.

And on the way home, we passed an Aston Martin Vantage.

Militaria I was a militaria junkie before I joined the Army. Ten years of it didn't help matters at all. In addition to all sorts of cool foreign stuff I've picked up, I've still kept my dress uniforms, including my more formal Dress Blues.
