Well, I just spent a completely unproductive few hours! :)
I threw the Gilmore Girls disc from Netflix in the DVD player & started playing American McGee's Alice on the laptop. Next thing I knew, the DVD was done and I had killed an end-level monster. I've finally gotten past the point in the game I'd gotten to back when I was playing on the PC, so it's all new to me now.

It's a very very good thing I don't have to get up early tomorrow to work! I took a vacation day so I can do homework. I'll probably spend a fair portion of the day down in the basement. I'll have to get out at some point though because me & Lump are really overdue for an expedition to PetSmart!

I didn't realize how much I had gotten used to not having a ? / key until it got put back on. Now everytime I type that and my finger hits the key I start feeling around for the spot with no key. It's good to break some habits; hopefully it won't take too long.

My grade in photo is slowly creeping it's way up! I started out the semester getting about a C. Then it was a high C/low B. Now I am very solidly at a B with a chance at an A, depending on my final project. It's a minimum of 5 prints and I've been to the zoo enough in the last few weeks that I'm not going to have any problem getting way more than 5.

Well, 3 am. I'm done slaying Wonderland critters for the night. Guess I better go to bed. Got lots of photo printing to do tomorrow.

An email came through that Mail didn't flag as junk. Oddly enough it wasn't about r0lex replicas like most of them have been lately. It was a link to some couples/sex site, but it also had a line of text:

Surgeon, Dr. O., I was surgeon. But I surgeons began surgeons, bumped against by migratory surgery shelves. He is surgery till night. He is surprise, he glanced at John:

I don't know why, but this part just amuses me: bumped against by migratory surgery shelves.

I'm on a quick break from the darkroom...
Gonna run to PetSmart w/the Lump cat and also drop off hellbob's drycleaning that we apparently discussed this morning, while I was asleep!
Then it will be back into the basement for me!
genevra, I don't know if you've seen mesmericone's post yet, but This seems much more up your alley than mine. Ya wanna drop her an email if you're interested?

This story about Microsoft employees & iPods is a couple months old, but I just saw it for the first time and it made me giggle.

wiredferret was talking about cover songs in a post & I was thinking about the ones I've got and realised that I really love cover songs, especially when it is a song I know (duh, otherwise why would you care that it's a cover) and the new version is pretty different.

I need more cover songs on my iPod.
Okay minions, tell me what cover songs you love, what cover songs you hate, what cover songs I absolutely must try to find copies of!

I think I need to make a cover song playlist on my iPod.
It will NOT contain any songs from THIS album, as I have no intention of ever letting it into my house.
Any & all suggestions of cover songs I *need* to own will be considered. Possibly then discarded, but considered none the less.
